FAQ
Yoga Therapy is a somatic (focus on the body), one-on-one healing modality where a Certified Yoga Therapist supports the client while they tune into the body while participating in various yoga postures. Much is stored in the body, including emotions and traumatic experiences, and by tuning inward, we create space for curiosity and self-inquiry about our experiences. Everyone is welcome whether you have never tried yoga before, or you are an experienced yogi!
Counseling may be a good fit if you are experiencing unwanted mental or emotional symptoms in your life. Whether it be due to trauma, a life change, or a brain/body imbalance, your therapist will create a treatment plan with you including goals for what you hope to achieve through your work together.
Your insurance may cover services for mental health counseling. Most clients are required to pay a co-pay or co-insurance for an appointment as part of their insurance plan. At this time, insurance does not usually cover the cost for our other services, but check your HSA plan to see if you can use those funds for our services.
Counseling and Yoga Therapy appointments are 50-60 minutes in length unless otherwise specified. Talk with your provider to confirm the length of your appointment.
