Camille hawkins (she/her)

Camille Hawkins is a seasoned therapist, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Utah, holds a Master's Degree from the University of Utah, and a Bachelor's Degree from Utah State University and specializes in the following areas:

Camille's therapeutic philosophy is rooted in neuroscience, biology, psychology, and attachment models. Camille enjoys having an eclectic practice with a variety of clients and issues related to grief, trauma, life transitions, and relationships. Camille utilizes modalities such as EMDR, CBT, IFS, ACT, EFT, Gottman, RODBT, experiential, psychodrama, mindfulness, art therapy, movement therapy, animal-assisted therapy, nature therapy, and more.

Camille sees clients virtually and in-person at The Wellness Farm, a therapeutic farm on 2.5 acres in Bluffdale focused on providing support for grief and trauma and building resiliency in the community. The Wellness Farm has a cozy counseling office cottage and beautiful grounds with over 50 rescued farm animals now living in sanctuary.

Camille loves her job and feels it’s an honor and a privilege to be able to sit with clients during the depths of human pain as well as the beautiful moments of strength and resilience.

In addition to helping her clients heal and find balance in their lives, she is also a passionate leader with extensive experience serving the community through nonprofits and provides consulting to a variety of community-based organizations.

She holds a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Utah and has served a variety of nonprofits  holding titles of Founder, Executive Director, Board Member & Staff Member. Some of the nonprofits she has supported are Boys and Girls Club of Utah, The Sharing Place, Utah Infertility Resource Center, Utah Adoption Council, Postpartum Support International - Utah, The Family Support Center, The Healthy Bluffdale Coalition, and most recently The Wellness Farm Foundation.

For her work in community building and organization, she was recognized by Utah Business Magazine as a 20 in Their 20’s honoree and given the Early Career Community Award by Utah State’s Women & Gender Studies Department. Her practice was also recognized in 2023 as a Top 10 Recipient of the REAL Salt Lake and America First Credit Union Small Business Showcase.

Camille is known for developing and facilitating effective programs, courses, events, trainings, research projects, and is currently a teacher for The Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath, & Death and a Site Supervisor for the University of Utah's Masters of Social Work program. She builds safe spaces for clients and providers to come together for learning, healing, and transformation. Clients and colleagues describe Camille as being gentle, compassionate, thoughtful and driven.

Camille enjoys being in nature, traveling, exploring yummy food, taking hot baths & long naps, and spending time with her family and farm animals.
